Movlixy provides online tools for compressing, converting, trimming, and extracting media. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use movlixy.com.

Information we collect

We may process information you provide directly, such as account details, uploaded media files, and information submitted through contact forms.

We may also collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, and usage events for security, abuse prevention, service operation, and performance monitoring.

Uploaded files

Files you upload are processed only to provide the requested media operation. Uploaded and generated files are stored temporarily and are automatically scheduled for deletion.

Movlixy currently uses an application retention period of approximately 6 hours. A storage lifecycle rule is also used as a safety measure to remove temporary objects after a longer fallback period.

Accounts

If you create an account, we may store your email address, password hash, session information, usage limits, and related account data.

Cookies and similar technologies

Movlixy may use strictly necessary cookies for sessions, security, and account functionality. Where required by law, consent may be requested before non-essential advertising or measurement technologies are used.

Advertising

Movlixy may use Google AdSense or similar advertising services. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with applicable law and user consent choices.

Service providers

Movlixy relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including cloud hosting, content delivery, object storage, security, and advertising providers. Current infrastructure includes Hetzner for server hosting and Cloudflare for DNS, security, content delivery, and R2 object storage.

Data retention

Temporary uploaded and converted media is deleted automatically. Account information and necessary operational records may be retained for as long as reasonably required to provide the service, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or consent withdrawal.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, rate limiting, network filtering, and temporary file retention.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, legal requirements, or our providers change.
